 Details of Programme:   The programme entails a sequential six-stage treatment and rehab programme:
(a) Initial point of contact (POC) at our outreach centre in Preston St, where a support worker is allocated.
(b) Referral for detoxification to relevant agencies/services, in conjunction with ongoing support   from appointed support worker.
(c) Pre-entry groups to prepare the client for residential treatment.
(d) Commencement of Residential Treatment Programme.
(e) Supervised Transitional Housing in conjunction with  participation in a day-care aftercare programme run by Soilse, and weekly aftercare groups provided by SICN
(f)Access to further educational and vocational training via our outreach centre in Preston St.
Ongoing access to free one-to-one counselling with the networks addiction counsellors with the aim of helping the client to adhere to their individual care plan and make a successful transition to independent living.
 
 Criteria for entry:

 Male drug users over the age of 18 yrs.

 

 Admission/Referral:

 On assessment basis, which will take, place in Drop in centre in Amien Street.   Following 3  appointments a full staff team will evaluate the client’s readiness and suitability for the programme.  If the client is suitable a full assessment will be carried out and reviewed by staff team.  Clients who  are suitable will begin the pre entry group for the  residential centre and those who are not will be referred to a programme more suited to their needs.
