Criteria for entry:                 Males  between the ages of 18 – 35

                                                The clients have to be drug free

                                                Motivated to participate in the residential programme.

 

Admission/Referral:           On assessment basis in Athy with Dr. French O’Carroll.

                                                A urine sample will be taken at each assessment.

Referral can be made by G.P.’s, Family, Friends, Counsellors,  Probation, and Prisons etc

 

Details of Programme:        The programme is a 20-week residential             programme.              This consists of Group Therapy             Meetings, One to One  Counselling, Lectures, N.A. Meetings, Meditation &  Spiritual Programme combined with Occupational Therapy.  Family Day once a month.  Family meetings in Teach Mhuire, Gardiner Street, Dublin every   Thursday night.                      

 

After care:                              Aftercare programme which lasts for 2 years in Teach             Mhuire, Lower Gardiner Street, Dublin.

                                                Our Lady’s Drug Unit, Cardington, Athy, Co Kildare.
